Local Lions meet with Concordia Center
      The Eatontown Lions Club recently sponsored a joint meeting with other area Lions Clubs to receive an update from the Concordia Learning Center at the St. Joseph's School for the Blind, a New Jersey Lions state-sponsored project.

Park's camp/swim directory available
      Monmouth County Park System will publish a camp/swim edition of its directory, which lists all of its children's summer camps and swim lessons. The special issue is available in most county parks and information will also be available online at www.monmouthcountyparks. com on that date.

Trail maintenance training March 14
      The Monmouth County Park System is seeking volunteers for its trail maintenance corps to help preserve the 100+ miles of the System's trails. New volunteers must attend a free training session prior to participating in trail workdays. The next training session will be 9 a.m. to noon March 14 at Longstreet Farm, Longstreet Road, Holmdel.

      The nonprofit Michael's Feat, Aberdeen, will host its spring gala 7-11 p.m. March 20 at the Battleground Country Club, Manalapan. The Michael Gerard Puharic Memorial Fund Inc. (Michael's Feat) assists local families caring for seriously ill newborns.
