Birding, fishing, beach sweep at Hook
      Gateway National Recreation Area, Sandy Hook, will host "Birding for Beginners," presented by naturalists from the New Jersey Audubon Society, 10 a.m. April 5. Monmouth County Audubon Society will hold a spring bird walk 10 a.m. April 11. A surf-fishing clinic will be 8 a.m. April 25.

Monmouth Museum trips to begin March 25
      Monmouth Museum, Brookdale Community College, Lincroft section of Middletown, will offer trips this spring beginning with a trip to "Cezanne and Beyond" at the Philadelphia Museum of Art 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 25. Cost is $100 for nonmembers, and $95 for members.

S.B. Easter Egg Parade and Hunt
      Put on an Easter bonnet and stroll to the Sea Bright municipal parking lot (behind the fire house) for the annual Easter Egg Parade and Hunt, Saturday, April 11, sponsored by the Sea Bright Recreation Committee. The parade begins at 11 a.m., and prizes will be awarded for Best Bonnet (girls) and Most Dapper (boys) in three age groups: infants to 3; 4 to 7; and adults.
