'Sheep's Run' designer show house opens April 28
      The design committee for "Sheep's Run," a homes-by-the-sea designer show house, has announced the names of more than 50 interior designers chosen to transform a Rumson estate into a mecca of fine design. Media sponsor is Design NJ magazine.

Birding, fishing, beach sweep at Hook
      Gateway National Recreation Area, Sandy Hook, will host "Birding for Beginners," presented by naturalists from the New Jersey Audubon Society, 10 a.m. April 5. Monmouth County Audubon Society will hold a spring bird walk 10 a.m. April 11. A surf-fishing clinic will be 8 a.m. April 25.
