The Monmouth County Arts Council will host the New Jersey premiere of "Every Little Step" at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at Clearview Cinema in Red Bank. The film depicts the casting process of the 2006 Broadway stage revival of Michael Bennett's "A Chorus Line." A reception will be held at 5 p.m. at Jamian's Food & Drink (formerly Echo) at 79 Monmouth St. Tickets for the film only are $10; for the film and reception, tickets are $45 for MCAC members and $50 for nonmembers. The Art Society of Monmouth County will meet April 15 at Monmouth Beach Cultural Center, 128 Ocean Ave. The meeting will run 10:30 a.m. to noon. A social half-hour with refreshments will be followed by an 11 a.m. presentation by watercolor artist Lisa Budd, whose paintings have appeared in numerous exhibitions and have received numerous awards.
