LUPE Latina leadership conference April 18

Latinas United for Political Empowerment (LUPE) will presents the fourth annual young Latina leadership conference, "Knowledge! Empowerment! Action!" 8 a.m.-3 p.m. April 18 at Trayes Hall, Douglass campus center at Rutgers University, 100 George St., New Brunswick.

Young women from various civic and social organizations, colleges, and high schools statewide are encouraged to attend the free conference. Workshops will focus on leadership, networking/self promotion and financial empowerment. The event is open to the public. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
