      Marna K. McCarter Lord
            Mrs. Lord, 80, of Red Bank, died Feb. 25, 2009. She resided in Rumson, prior to relocating to Red Bank. She was a past president of the Public Health Nursing Association, and member of the Monmouth County Welfare Board. A memorial service will be held May 2 at 2 p.m. at St. George'sby the-River Episcopal Church, Rumson. Arrangements are by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.

      Dominick F. Santelle
            Mr. Santelle, 93, of New Port Richey, Fla., died April 12, 2009, at Community Hospital, New Port Richey. He resided in Red Bank, and Little Silver, prior to relocating to New Port Richey.

      William J. Evers
            Mr. Evers, 76, of Lakewood, died April 15, 2009, at Atlantic Coast Nursing Facility of Lakewood. He resided in the Locust section of Middletown for 30 years, prior to relocating to Lakewood. He was a retired research chemist at International Flavors and Fragrances, Union Beach, and held several patents. He also coowned with his wife, Adventure Travel, Middletown.

      The Rev. Richard A. Ewing
            The Rev. Richard A. Ewing, 89, of Red Bank, died April 23, 2009, at home. He was ordained a Roman Catholic priest in 1946, and was the pastor at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, High Bridge, for 30 years, retiring in 1989. His local assignments included Holy Cross Parish, Rumson; St. Agnes, Atlantic Highlands; and St. Joseph's, Keyport.

      Frederic Richard "Dick" Martin
            Mr. Martin, 73, of Oceanport, died April 15, 2009, at home. He was also an English teacher, and coached football and swimming at Red Bank Regional High School, Little Silver, for 25 years. He played football for the N.Y. Giants in 1960, and played semi-pro ball for the N.J. Generals from 1963-65.

      Karen Farber Swanson
            Mrs. Swanson, 52, of Fair Haven, died April 19, 2009. She was raised in Rumson, and resided in London, and Florence, Italy, for 14 years, prior to relocating to Fair Haven nine years ago. She was employed at the law firm of Hughes Hubbard & Reed, New York City, prior to relocating to London.
