Themes for the May show at the Art Alliance of Monmouth County in Red Bank are "Recycled Materials" and "Children's Art." The "Children's Art" portion of this exhibition will include creations by young people participating in Art Alliance workshops. The judge and window artist for this show will be Anthony Almeida of New York. The Art Alliance is located at 33 Monmouth St., and gallery hours: are Tuesday- Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. The exhibit will run through May 30. Learn more at www.artallianceofmonmouth. org.

"Clue the Murder Mystery" will be presentedMay 8-30, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m., at Eatontown Playhouse in the Tower Market Shopping Center, 37-13 Route 35 north in Eatontown. "Clue" is a stage adaptation of the 1985 cult classic. The interactive staging will see the cast utilizing the entire theater. Tickets are $22, $17 seniors and students. May 24 and 30 tickets are $15 for all patrons.

The playhouse's Children's Entertainment Series will present "Rumpelstiltskin" May 9- 31, at noon Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets are $14, $11 seniors and students. For reservations call 732-888-0339.

"BobFest," the annual Bob Dylan birthday celebration presented by Pat Guadagno and Tired Horses will take place Monday, May 18, at the Two River Theater in Red Bank to celebrate Dylan's 68th birthday. The annual tribute began 10 years ago, and this year celebrates its fourth year at the Two River Theater with Tired Horses, Rich Oddo, Red River Rizzo, Rene Woolley, Yuri Turchin and Mary McCrink. This year special guests are Marc Muller and Steve Delopolous as well as Nashville singer/songwriter Daniel Petraitis

The Rock & Roll Music Fund sponsors the event with proceeds benefitting the Tony Guadagno Memorial Scholarship for aspiring young New Jersey musicians attending Berklee College of Music in Boston. Doors open at 7 p.m. with food and cocktails in the lobby decorated with Dylan memorabilia. Tickets are $30 available at the box office at 21 Bridge Ave., 732-345-1400 or online at www.TRTC.org.

The New Jersey Repertory Company, 179 Broadway in Long Branch, is extending the run of its world-premiere production of "The Housewives of Mannheim." Due to popular demand, the new comic-drama by Alan Brody will run through May 31. The play centers around four women living in an apartment building in Brooklyn in 1944 during World War II. Performances are Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m. and selected Sundays at 7 p.m. For tickets call 732-229-3166 or visit www.njrep.org.

Monmouth University in West Long Branch will host the Metropolitan Opera production of "La Cenerentola" by Rossini at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 9. Encore Date is Wednesday, May 27, at 7 p.m. Running time is three hours with one intermission. The cast includes El na Garan a, Lawrence Brownlee, Alessandro Corbelli and John Relyea. Conductor is Maurizio Benini. The performance is part of the Met's groundbreaking series "The Met: Live in HD." The live broadcast of the Metropolitan Opera from Lincoln Center in New York City will be shown on Pollak Theatre's large screen. Single tickets are $22, $20 senior, and $10 student/child.
