      Hawks earn All-East recognition in track & field
      Men's & women's teams win NEC crowns
            Christian Keller led a parade of Monmouth University track and field athletes who earned All-East distinction a Princeton University last weekend. Keller, a senior from Matawan High School, earned All-East honors twice at the IC4A Championships held May 16-17. Keller was eighth in the discus (162-7) on Saturday and came back to take seventh in the shot put (55-5).

      Fishing will only get better
            Listen to the weatherman and you may have missed a very good weekend of bass fishing. It was 50/50 with chances of stiff winds, chances of thunderstorms and plenty of fog covering Raritan Bay all the way to Delaware Bay. With the urge to land a few trophy bass, most Garden State anglers took their chances and ventured out anyway.
