      Mr. Vermilyea, 78, of Shrewsbury, died May 16, 2009, at home. He was a mechanic at Nestlé, Freehold, retiring 15 years ago. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Vermilyea, in 2001; and a daughter, Michelle Smith, in 2008.

      Mr. Hein, 90, of Howell, died May 17, 2009, at home. He had lived in Lakewood before moving to Howell in 1962.
