Center announces blood drives for June

Central Jersey Blood Center, 494 Sycamore Ave., Shrewsbury, has announced the following local blood drives for June:

• June 1 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Monmouth University, Cedar and Larchwood avenues, West Long Branch

• June 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Markel Underwriting, 310 Route 35 south, Red Bank

• June 23 6-8 p.m. at Temple Beth Torah, Deal and Local roads, Ocean

• June 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Warshauer Electric, 800 Shrewsbury Ave., Tinton Falls

• June 30 5:30-9 p.m. at Little Silver Borough Firehouse, Prospect Avenue.

Donors must be age 17 or older, and weigh at least 120 pounds. Donors should eat before donating, and bring a signature identification. Donations may also be made at the blood center from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call 732-842-5750.
