RED BANK — The borough is now home to the Jersey Fusion Women's Basketball Club.

Jersey Fusion is one of the newest members of the Women's Blue Chip Basketball League (WBCBL).

The WBCBL's mission is to provide highly competitive basketball for women age 20 and older. The competition level ranges from former college players to former NWBL and WNBA players and current international players.

For the first home game, the Fusion is offering to all youth sports teams free entry when players wear their team gear.

Jersey Fusion is currently seeking staff for the 2009 season. Home games will be held at Salvation Army Gymnasium, 180 Newman Springs Road, Red Bank.
