            Melissa Bellin continues to make her senior year one to remember. Bellin added another state championship to her high school résumé on Friday at the NJSIAA State Group II Championships held at Frank Jost Field in South Plainfield.

      Lord Justice goes wire to wire in Spend a Buck Stakes
            Stronach Stables' Lord Justice led all the way to win the $70,000 Spend a Buck Stakes, and Edith R. Dixon's Smart Enough was a facile winner in the $60,000 Wolf Hill Stakes on turf before a crowd of 8,365 at Monmouth Park on Saturday.

            The 23rd Annual New Jersey International Track and Field Meet will be held on Saturday on the Bob Roggy Memorial Field at Holmdel High School. This event, named in memory of the late Bob Roggy, a world class javelin thrower who starred at Holmdel High School, has brought some of the sport's finest athletes to participate in the meet.
