Christine J. McKenna

Mrs. McKenna, 58, of Red Bank, died June 3, 2009, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was the office manager at McKenna, Dupont, Higgins and Stone Law Firm, Red Bank. She was a graduate of St. Vincent's Nursing School, New York City. She was a member of the Red Bank Planning Board, and active in several charitable activities. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Edward J. McKenna Jr.; a son, Sean E. McKenna; a daughter, Kayla C. McKenna of Red Bank; her parents, Edna and Eugene Davidson Gerrard; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Pamela Gerrard of Stony Brook, N.Y.; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Patricia and Gary Leffke of Virginia Beach, Va.; Pamela and Richard Ruschak of Jamestown, N.Y.; and Ann Marie Gerrard of Westchester, Pa.; and 24 nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.
