Oceanport Lions donate $5,500 to borough
      The Oceanport Lions Club donated $5,500 from its Strawberry Fair proceeds to the residents of Oceanport. Despite severe economic conditions, the Lions increased its donation by $500 from previous years. The donation was made during the June 18 Oceanport Council meeting.

      The KaBoom Fireworks Committee is looking for motivated individuals to help collect donations 6-9 p.m. the night of the Red Bank fireworks, July 3. Volunteers are asked to attend a coordination meeting 6 p.m. June 29 on the back lawn of the K. Hovnanian building, 110 W. Front St., Red Bank.
