Mr. Kristiansen, 84, of Little Silver, died June 14, 2009, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Following service as a Seabee in the U.S. Navy during World War II, he became the youngest Conservation officer to be appointed in New Jersey and the first Conservation officer to earn his pilot license. He was predeceased by a son, Kyle Gunnar Kristiansen. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Vivian; a son, Marty; a brother, Arthur; and a grandson. Arrangements were by the John E.
