Fourth of July Parade of Boats in Red Bank
      The Shrewsbury River Yacht Club Inc., Fair Haven, will hold its annual Fourth of July Parade of Boats on July 4, beginning at 11 a.m. The boats will leave the yacht club and pass by Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, with a boat review of the decorated boats at noon sharp on the pier in Marine Park, Red Bank.

Choir festival in Ocean Grove July 12
      The Ocean Grove Camp Meeting will present the 55th annual choir festival 7:30 p.m. July 12 at the Great Auditorium, Pilgrim and Ocean Pathways, Ocean Grove. The festival will feature 1,000 choristers from the eastern United States accompanied by organ and festive brass, performing anthems, hymns and works by classical and well as contemporary composers.

Run raises $45,000 for Kaiser Foundation
      The Ryan Andrew Kaiser Memorial Foundation (RAKMF) and Jersey Shore Running Club held the annual Ryan's Run in late June, which raised approximately $45,000. The nonprofit RAKMF was established after the sudden death of Ryan Kaiser, 6, from congenital heart disease.

Sandy Hook has free parking on select dates
      Sandy Hook Unit of Gateway National Recreation Area will take part in the nationwide Fee-Free Weekend on July 18 and 19 and Aug. 15 and 16. Sandy Hook will eliminate the $10-per-car parking fee on those dates; the park has no entrance fee but charges $10 per car for beach parking.
