Basie golf outing slated for Sept. 24
      The Count Basie Theatre will hold its annual golf outing Sept. 24 at Beacon Hill Country Club, Atlantic Highlands. Registration and luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed at 1 p.m. by the Callaway tournament. The event will also feature a reception and prizes at 6 p.m.

Registration under way for CPC 5K run
      CPC Behavioral Healthcare, Eatontown, will hold the CPC Pier House 5K at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 7, beginning on the great lawn in Long Branch. Preregistration for adults is $22 by Aug. 31, $25 from Sept. 1-6, and $28 on race day; and $10 for children.
