Mr. Dunn, 74, of Middletown, died Aug. 5, 2009, following a lengthy illness. He resided in Freehold and Marlboro prior to relocating to Middletown. He was a retired corporate executive at ITT, New York City. During retirement, he was an auditor for the state of New Jersey and a financial consultant. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Virginia O'Brien Dunn; a son, David of Aberdeen; four daughters and three sons-inlaw, Kathleen and Neal Carney of Los Gatos, Calif., Patricia Dunn of Atlantic Highlands, Judith and John Horan of Fair Haven, and Diana Dunn Graves and Andres of Amherst, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Rumson. Interment was at Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
