The Northern Monmouth County Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will present the program "Titanic: The Story of a Great Ship" 4-6 p.m. Sept. 13 at Old First Church, 69 Kings Highway, Middletown. The program will be presented by author Charles A. Haas, who will discuss the historical background of the ship, including social history, up to the time of the disaster in April of 1912. A wine and cheese reception at 4 p.m. will precede the presentation. Tickets are $15 in advance, with proceeds to benefit the AAUW Educational Foundation.
