Mrs. Hermo, 76, of Keyport, died Aug. 31, 2009, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was employed in the accounting department at Anderson Vreeland Co., Fairfield, retiring in 1998. She was predeceased by a sister, Joan Job; and a brother, Gerald Little. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Joseph Hermo of Caldwell, Robert and Gail Hermo of Montague, Claudia Seickendick of Hollywood, Fla., and Melissa and Larry Kiernan of Middletown; a sister, Ellen Stratton of Rumson; and five grandchildren. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
