Mr. Jones, 79, of Middletown, died Sept. 27, 2009, at home. He resided in Ellicott City, Md., prior to relocating to Middletown 40 years ago. He was a retired employee at AT&T, New York City. Prior to that, he was employed at Western Electric, Baltimore, Md. He is survived by his wife, Joan Jones of Middletown; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sandra Jones of Keansburg, and Tamra and Brian Tompkins of Red Bank; and four grandchildren. Interment was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
