Monmouth County SPCA (MCSPCA), 260 Wall St., Eatontown, will hold its grand opening Community Day and Family Festival 1-5 p.m. Oct. 17.

The event will celebrate the grand opening of the new MCSPCA and Homeward Bound Adoption Center.

It will feature games and activities such as face painting, spin art and giant inflatables.

There will also be "Ask-The-Vet" discussions, pet-themed seminars, musical entertainment and tasty treats. The first 100 individuals adopting a pet on Community Day will get a special welcome-home package.
