Ms. Jewell, 84, of Oceanport, died Oct. 2, 2009, at home. Born in Chambersburg, Pa., she had resided in Oceanport for more than 40 years. Ms. Jewell was a surgical nurse at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, for several years. She is survived by a niece and nephew. Arrangements were by Woolley Funeral Home, Long Branch.
