Beacon Fine Arts Gallery in Red Bank will host the first solo show of paintings by West Coast artist Goli Mahallati, with an opening reception 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.

"Moment in Time" Mahallati's paintings have a dream-like quality that blurs color and form to create sensory impressions. A warm and luminescent color palette and mysterious forms characterize her work.

Mahallati graduated from the University of Tehran and earned a master's degree from American International College in Massachusetts, and currently resides in Southern California.

Beacon Fine Arts Gallery is located at 61 Monmouth St. in Red Bank.
