      Rose Theresa Noon
            Mrs. Noon, 88, of New Canaan, Conn., and formerly Red Bank, died Oct. 13, 2009, at Norwalk (Conn.) Hospital. She resided in Red Bank prior to relocating to New Canaan in 2003. Mrs. Noon was employed at Delicious Orchards, Colts Neck, from 1968 until retiring at age 81. She was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, William P. Noon, in 1978; six brothers; and two sisters.

      Anna B. Gigante
            Mrs. Gigante, 69, of Middletown, died Oct. 15, 2009, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was a forklift operator at Charles of the Ritz, Holmdel, retiring in 1987.

      Townsend Alexander
            Mr. Alexander, 80, of Red Bank, died Oct. 17, 2009. He served with the U.S. Army Reserve from 1954 until he was honorably discharged in 1962. Mr. Alexander was a retired school bus driver. He was predeceased by a son, Townsend Alexander III. Surviving are a daughter, Eva Dean; and two grandchildren, Taritsa Baxter and Andreus Dean.

      Michael Fornino
            Mr. Fornino, 98, of Long Branch, died Oct. 18, 2009, at home, following a brief battle with cancer. He was an electrician at Fasano Brothers Hardware, Long Branch, for more than 50 years. He was predeceased by his three sisters, Marion and Carmella Fornino, Mary Abatemarco and Anna Pingitore; and three brothers, James, Henry and Eugene.

      Serafino "Sed" Castaldo
            Mr. Castaldo, 82, of Oceanport, died Oct. 16, 2009, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He and his wife were proprietors of Balloon A-Tiks, Oceanport. He was predeceased by a sister, Paula Dennison. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Connie Garifine Castaldo; a son and his partner, Joseph A.

      Dolores D. Schneid
            Mrs. Schneid, 73, of Middletown, died Oct. 19, 2009, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was employed at the Asbury Park Press, Neptune, most recently as district manager, retiring after 25 years. She is survived by two sons, Tom Schneid of Virginia Beach, Va., and Dan Schneid of Santa Ana, Calif.

      Marie Pardi Mellaci
            Mrs. Mellaci, 89, of Jensen Beach, Fla., died Oct. 16, 2009, at Treasure Coast Hospice, Stuart, Fla., following a brief illness. She resided in Rumson prior to relocating to Jensen Beach 26 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Dr. Louis F. Mellaci, in 1993; a granddaughter, Michelle Hodapp; and four brothers, Michael, Joseph, John and Carmen Pardi.

      Angelo "Gig" DeGeorge
            Mr. DeGeorge, 88, of Fair Haven, died Oct. 15, 2009, at Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation, Shrewsbury. He was a foreman at Ricciardi Construction Company, Orange, for several years, retiring in 1985. He was also a partner with his brother-in-law at A & B Gulf, Red Bank. Mr. DeGeorge was predeceased by a sister, Caroline DeGeorge; and a brother, Herman DeGeorge.

            Mr. Molok, 63, of Fair Haven, died Oct. 15, 2009, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was a chemical operator at Reheis Chemical, Berkeley Heights. He was predeceased by a stepbrother. He is survived by his wife, Donna Chorba Molok; and two sons, David and Kenneth Jr. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.

            Mr. Gibson, 86, of Tinton Falls, died Oct. 15, 2009, at Renaissance Gardens, Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a first class radio operator, joining the family business, Frank C. Gibson, Inc., of Freehold, upon his return. Mr. Gibson was predeceased by a sister, Mary; and two brothers, Joseph and George.
