Frederick K. Gibson
Mr. Gibson, 86, of Tinton Falls, died Oct. 15, 2009, at Renaissance Gardens, Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a first class radio operator, joining the family business, Frank C. Gibson, Inc., of Freehold, upon his return. Mr. Gibson was predeceased by a sister, Mary; and two brothers, Joseph and George. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret; six children, Sally Kowalski, Freehold, Kathleen Gibson, Boulder, Colo., Ellen Dana, Manasquan, Meg Gibson, Columbia, Mo., Jimi Gibson, Arvada, Colo., and Joann Roddy, Brielle; three brothers, Frank, Leonard and Roger Gibson; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial Mass was celebrated at The Town Square Auditorium at Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls. Memorial donations may be made to Salvation Army, 440 W.
