The Art Society of Monmouth County will meet fro 10:30 a.m. to noon Nov.18 at Monmouth Beach Cultural Center, 128 Ocean Ave. Sharon Hathaway will give a talk about painting the acrylic landscape. Duxiana of Red Bank was a sponsor of an event in mid-October for the Annika Foundation at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club, Bedminster Township. The event included 18 holes of golf, a children's golf clinic with Annika Sorenstam, refreshments and an auction. Hall of Fame golfer Sorenstam was celebrity host. Duxiana has locations in Ridgewood, Red Bank and Summit.

A benefit concert by pianist Julia Muench, and violinist Joel DeWitt will be held 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County, 1475 W. A Holiday Marketplace to benefit the Mid-Jersey Mothers of Multiples (MJMOMS) will be held 6-10 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Park Avenue Bistro, 618 Park Ave., Freehold. MJMOMS is a nonprofit that provides support to mothers of twins, triplets and higher-order multiples. Items for sale will include custom clothing, handbags, toys and other items. Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, and Middletown Township Public Library, 55 New Monmouth Road, will present a healthy holiday eating seminar 7 p.m. Nov. 17 at the library. Mary Higgins, registered dietitian educator at Riverview, will be joined by a representative of Whole Foods market in Middletown to discuss simple heart-healthy dishes that can be prepared at home, portion control, adding fruits to meals and other topics.
