      RFH girls win CJ II title
      RBR's Metlitz wins boys' race
            Rumson-Fair Haven High School's harriers' performance could have made the Central Jersey Group II favorites prove that they were better. It turned out, though, that the favorites weren't. By running aggressively from the start of Saturday's 5K race at Thompson Park in Jamesburg, the Bulldogs made everyone else catch them.

      Local teams come up big
            The Long Branch Green Wave took on unbeaten Manasquan High School this past weekend, looking to make a statement and give themselves a shot at a home game in the opening round of the Central Jersey Group II playoffs. Thanks to a heroic performance from junior quarterback Miles Shuler, they were able to accomplish both.
