Entries now taken for Rock'n Music Idol

Rock'n Music Idol, Middletown, is now accepting entries for its third season. The competition is open to New Jersey musicians age 7-17 in the categories of guitar, bass, drums, keyboard/ piano, vocals, and vocals/instrument. Interested contestants audition and are judged by a panel of professional musicians based on style, technique and originality. Winners receive a grand-prize package of professional recording studio time and a professional photo shoot. New this season, an overall winner selected by the judges, receives the grand-prize and $500. There is a $25 entry fee; deadline is Feb. 19. Visit www.RocknMusicIdol.com.
