      Jump-start the holidays at Christmas Forest'

      "A Christmas Forest" bazaar will be held from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, and 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Presbyterian Church at Shrewsbury, 352 Sycamore Ave.

      Featured at this annual event will be handmade crafts and tree trimmings; greenery arrangements; homemade baked goods and soups; jewelry; nearly new items and gifts; gently used toys, books; and Christmas trash and treasure. The Boy Scouts will be selling wreaths.

      On Saturday enjoy cider and cookies while shopping. Santa will be available for pictures with the little ones. The deacons will be serving lunch and a local accordionist will provide Christmas music.

      Make a purchase at the Christmas Market to support the Heifer Project. At the SERVV table items made in Third World countries will be sold. The proceeds go back to them.
