The annual event will feature handmade crafts and tree trimmings, greenery, homemade baked goods and soups, jewelry and Christmas trash and treasure. The Boy Scouts will be selling wreaths. Santa will be on hand for pictures with the little ones, and a local accordionist will provide Christmas music. Attendees may buy a purchase to support the Heifer Project or SERVV. For more information, call 732-747-3557. ***** Rumson Garden Club will hold a Christmas greens workshop Dec. 5 during which members decorate wreaths and make holiday centerpieces for Rumson Borough Hall, Oceanic Library, Parker Family Clinic and other organizations. The club also distributes candy bags to the King James Care Center. An open meeting of the club will be 11 a.m. Jan. 19. Gray Russell, environmental coordinator for the town of Montclair, will present green home energy tips. The meeting will be at Rumson Country Club and there will be no charge to attend, but members are asked to notify Jeanne at 732-842-7452. ***** The Concordia Chorale will present a free concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 7 at Holy Trinity Church, 150 Rumson Road, Red Bank. Front St., Lincroft section of Middletown, will sponsor the ninth annual "United We Sing" celebration 4 p.m. Nov. 22. The public is invited to the free interfaith and multicultural artistic presentation of music, dance and verse. It brings together representatives of traditions such as Muslim, Jain, Christian, Jewish, Native American and Buddhist. Children are welcome to participate. The performance will be followed by light refreshments. A gift auction will also be held to benefit Holiday Express. The event will feature a cocktail reception and four-course dinner paired with wines from Holly Crest Winery. The price is $65 per person. Holly Crest is also donating 5 percent of proceeds to Holiday Express from all its wines sold through Jan. 1. Holiday Express was founded in 1993 by Tim McLoone, owner of Pier House. It delivers music, food, gifts, financial support and friendship to adults and children who are mentally or physically disabled, living with AIDS, or homeless, as well as the isolated elderly during the holiday season and throughout the year.
