William McCormick

Mr. McCormick, 89, of Holmdel, died Nov. 2, 2009, at home. He was an exempt member of the Holmdel Fire Company No. 1, and the Holmdel Fire Police. Mr. McCormick was predeceased by a son-in-law, George Meissner. He is survived by his wife, Elinor "Ducky" McCormick; four daughters and one son-in-law, Carol Meissner of Tuckerton, Michele Damen of Shrewsbury, Margaret and Charles Harrison of Freehold, and Sharon Lasater of Holmdel; a sister and brother-in-law, Marguerite and Malcolm Peseux of Holmdel; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Interment was at Holmdel Cemetery. Arrangements were by Holmdel Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Holmdel Fire Company No. 1, 35 Main St., Holmdel, NJ 07733-2105.
