Mrs. Veverka, 79, of Tinton Falls, died Nov. 9, 2009, at the Chelsea Assisted Living, Tinton Falls. She lived in Carteret and Woodbridge prior to relocating to Tinton Falls. She was formerly employed at New York Telephone, and Simmons Co. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony T. Veverka; and two brothers, Frank and Edward Nelson. She is survived by two daughters and one sonin law, Betty Ann Veverka of Middletown, and Karen and Victor R. Garlitos Jr. of Northfield; a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony T. and Andrea Veverka Jr. of South Brunswick; a sister, Margaret Clemente of Bayonne; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Interment was at St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia section of Woodbridge. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.
