John "Johnny" Connor

Mr. Connor, 70, of Rumson, died Dec. 14, 2008, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was the retired chief inspector of the Monmouth County Mosquito Commission, where he was employed more than 43 years. During retirement, he was a consultant for the commission. He was also a consultant at LabriolaMotors Inc. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert T. Connor; and a nephew, Timothy J. "TJ" Connor. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Marie Connor of Rumson; a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Patrick Mazzucca of Rumson; a sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Ted Helbig of Tyler, Texas; a brother, Timothy Connor of Boca Raton, Fla.; and three grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Cross Church, Rumson. Entombment was at Woodbine Cemetery Mausoleum, Oceanport. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
