Business Briefs Rumson-Fair Haven Bank & Trust Co., Rumson, has opened two new offices. The Community Bank of Asbury Park opened in January, and a branch in Oceanport in February. Rumson-Fair Haven Bank and Trust branches provide deposit and lending services for individuals and small to medium-sized businesses and professional practices. They also offer safe deposit boxes, Internet banking, and electronic bill payment and other services. The bank also announced a 10 percent stock distribution payable to shareholders of record May 22, to be paid June 12. This is the sixth consecutive 10 percent stock distribution declared by the bank. John P. Paone Jr., Rumson, has been named to the "Top 100 Super Lawyers of New Jersey" list of New Jersey Monthly magazine in its April issue. He is a divorce and family law attorney at Paone & Zaleski, Woodbridge. The list includes attorneys from all practice areas of law, and the entire state. Paone was one of only 15 matrimonial attorneys named in the list. Kathryn Barnett, owner of the Kathryn Barnett School of Dance, Red Bank, received the Choreography Award at a recent Starpower Talent Competition in Valley Forge, Pa. Her work, a comedic take on Justin Timberlake and Madonna's "Four Minutes," was danced by girls ages 6-10 who are a part of the Kathryn Barnett Traveling Troupe. The dance also was awarded the second-place Jazz Excellence Award and second-place high score in the age category. For the third consecutive year, BSY Associates (BSYA) Inc., Holmdel, has been named as one of the top 100 business to-business marketing and advertising agencies in the United States by Crain's BtoB magazine. Barbara Spector Yeninas, Holmdel, is senior partner and CEO of the company, and Gordon Forsyth, Fair Haven, is a managing partner. The firm was selected based on its overall performance in 2008, expansion of its client roster, and recognition for bestin class work. BSYA provides brand management and integrated marketing communications services.
WithumSmith&Brown (WS&B), Princeton, has announced the election of William R. Hagaman Jr., Holmdel, as the next managing partner. Ivan Brown will remain on as managing partner emeritus. Hagaman joined WS&B in 1980, and is partner-in-charge of its New Brunswick office. The accounting and consulting firm has a local office in Red Bank. |
