For the Record

In an interview for an article in the June 25 issue, U.S. Navy spokeswoman Lt. Laura Stegherr said that under a New Jersey statute, children living at Naval Weapons Station Earle in Colts Neck would attend school in the Tinton Falls School District. She was incorrectly quoted in the article as having said that the students would attend school in Colts Neck.

According to Shrewsbury Borough School District officials, the Monmouth County executive superintendent of schools has decided to include the Shrewsbury Borough School District in a school consolidation study that will look into a possible merger between the Red Bank Borough, Red Bank Regional High School and Little Silver school districts. Initially Shrewsbury was being considered for consolidation with the Eatontown, Tinton Falls and Shore Regional high school districts.
