Mr. Del Vecchio of Shrewsbury, died Dec. 30, 2009, following a battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was the retired director of sales and marketing of the dental division at Englehard Minerals and Chemicals Corp., where he was employed 35 years. He was a former president of the Dental Manufacturers of America, and Dental Gold Institute. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lida; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Debra Del Vecchio of Hamilton, Va.; two daughters and sonsin law, Kathy and Robert Maloney of Fair Haven, and Laura and Frank Sposato of Flemington; a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Russell Di- Giallorenzo of West Chester, Pa.; and six grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank.
