Mrs. O’Brien, 80, of Tinton Falls, died Jan. 1, 2010, at Renaissance Gardens, Tinton Falls. She was a former assistant administrator at the Terrill Fund, East Orange; and former executive secretary at Colgate Palmolive, Jersey City; and General Electric, New York City. She resided in Middletown for 35 years prior to moving to Tinton Falls six years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, George, in 1998; and a sister, Mary Thynne. She is survived by two brothers, James Haggerty of Hazlet, and Donald Haggerty of Clinton; a sister, Lorraine Wilson of Tampa, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Mary Mother of God Roman Catholic Church, Middletown. Entombment followed at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum. Arrangements were by Holmdel Funeral Home.
