Mrs. Alston, 88, of Red Bank, died Jan. 7, 2010, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was predeceased by her husband, Woodrow “Woody” Alston; and five siblings, Rebecca Forehand, Anna Monroe, and William, Joseph and James Robinson. Mrs. Alston is survived by two sisters-in-law, Laura Robinson of Fair Haven and Ruth Robinson of Red Bank; and several nieces and nephews. Interment took place at White Ridge Cemetery, Eatontown. Childs Funeral Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
