A preview and reception for the Library Lovers Book sale will be from 7-9 p.m. on Feb. 5 at the Red Bank Public Library, 84 W. Front St. Suggested donation is $5 and includes wine and cheese, live music by local musician Jim Crawford, raffle items and first dibs at the books. The sale sponsored by Friends of the Red Bank Public Library will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 6. It will include current bestsellers, classics, fiction and nonfiction, DVDs, CDs and a separate room for the children’s book sale. The New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs will bring its veterans outreach program, One Mall a Month, to Monmouth Mall, Route 36 and 35, Eatontown, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Feb. 2-4. The information kiosk will be located near the food court. The program’s purpose is to inform veterans and their families of all the benefits that they may be eligible to receive from the state and federal governments. A presentation of the N.J. Distinguished Service Medal and other state service medals to veterans will be at 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 2 in the mall center court by the kiosk. Veterans who miss the opportunity to visit the kiosk may call the benefits information line at 1-888-8NJ VETS.
