Mr. Whitmore, 73, of Wall, died Jan. 9, 2010. He resided in Little Silver prior to relocating to Wall in 2009. He was an attorney at Ansell, Zaro, Grimm and Aaron, Ocean Township. Prior to that, he was an attorney at his practice, George G. Whitmore, P.A., Red Bank, from 1983-2002, and a partner at Vernon, Whitmore & McGuire, Shrewsbury. He was the founder of the Elder Settlement Program of Monmouth County. He is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Hilary W. and Brian O’Shaughnessy of Wall, Juliane Whitmore Pendell of Red Bank, and Cynthia and Jeffrey W. Kovacs of Miami; and five grandchildren. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
