Coastal Carolina University, Conway, S.C., announced the following local student received a degree at the December commencement exercises:

Lauren Crescenzi of Red Bank, cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Coastal Carolina University also announced the following local students were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester:

York (Pa.) College of Pennsylvania announced the following local student named to the dean’s list for the fall semester:

Trevor Mahoney-Kendra of Tinton Falls, a senior business administration major.

Providence (R.I.) College, announced the following local students named to the dean’s list for the fall semester:

Brian Biga of Fair Haven; Jeffrey Folker of Fair Haven; Victoria Oswald of Fair Haven; and

Alexa Tsakiris of Red Bank.

Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Conn., announced the following local students named to the dean’s list for the fall semester:

Julia Gasparini of Oceanport; Michael Lang of Sea Bright; Rebekka Rucinski of Shrewsbury; Brooke Tunny-Farley of Fair Haven; and

Kerry Wilson of Shrewsbury.

Graig Van Lenten, Red Bank, has been awarded a BSYA Inc. Scholarship from The Containerization & Intermodal Institute, Newark. Scholarships were awarded to students committed to making a career in the field of the international trade and transportation industry. The scholarship funded by BSYA Inc., Holmdel, awards a student selected by professors from Rutgers University Supply Chain Management Program. Van Lenten received a Bachelor of Science degree in logistics and intermodal transportation cum laude from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, N.Y. He is pursuing a master’s of business administration at Rutgers Business School.

The New Jersey Nursing Initiative, Trenton, has announced 29 nurses named as Robert Wood Johnson Foundation New Jersey Nursing Scholars. Scholars receive benefits and support to help complete graduate or doctoral studies, and in exchange, each scholar makes a commitment after graduation to teach for at least three years as a full-time faculty member at a New Jersey based prelicensure nursing program. Each scholar has received a scholarship covering tuition and fees, and a $50,000 per-year stipend to cover living expenses for the two to four years spent as full-time students.

Named as a scholar was:

Latoya Rawlins, R.N., B.S.N., Red Bank, earning her master of science in nursing (M.S.N.) in nursing at Monmouth University, West Long Branch.

Katherine Adams, daughter of Maryellen and Dennis Adams of Rumson, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind., where she is majoring in finance. A 2009 graduate of Ranney School, Tinton Falls, she is a member of the university’s Circle K Community Service Organization.

Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pa., announced that the following local students were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester:

Andrew J. Cusick, Lincroft section of Middletown, son of James Cusick of Tinton Falls and Denise Cusick of Lincroft. He is a 2006 graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft;

Clare E. Brogan, daughter of John and Amy Brogan, Little Silver, and a 2008 graduate of Red Bank Regional High School, Little Silver;

David T. Gilmour, son of Lisa and David Gilmour, Little Silver, and a 2008 graduate of Red Bank Regional High School;

Jacqueline L. Monteforte, daughter of Bonnie and Frank Monteforte, Little Silver, and a 2006 graduate of Red Bank Regional High School; and

Lindsay A. Warrenburg, daughter of Gail Kolflat and William Warrenburg, Little Silver, and a 2009 graduate of the Monmouth County Academy of Health and Science, Neptune.

Jill McVitty, Oceanport, has been named to the dean’s list for fall semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta.

West Virginia University, Morgantown, announced the following local students were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester.

Carli Ambrose of Fair Haven; Francesca Gaglianello of Little Silver; Sean Groom of Tinton Falls; Sara Robinson of Rumson; and

Margaret Wodziak of Red Bank.

Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pa., announced the following local students named to the dean’s list for the fall semester:

Paul R. Allegra, Rumson, son of Maryann and Marshall Allegra, and a graduate of Ranney School, Tinton Falls;

Louis S. Carter, Rumson, son of Kathryn and J. Howard Carter, and graduate of Taft School, Watertown, Conn.; and

Dean E. Wise, Rumson, son of Edward Wise and Kaye Fiske, and graduate of Rumson Fair Haven Regional High School, Rumson.

Wagner College, Staten Island, N.Y., announced the following Oceanport students named to the dean’s list for the fall semester:

East Stroudsburg (Pa.) University of Pennsylvania, announced the following local student named to the dean’s list for the fall semester:
