‘In the Meantime’

‘In the Meantime,” an exhibit of works by Despina Statelova, opened Feb. 6 at the Shore Women’s Abstract Gallery

“Saturated” SWAG) in Asbury Park.

The emerging artist’s canvases are characterized by expressive paint and collage elements, and are notable for their narrative intrigue.

A gallery talk with the artist will take place from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13. Twenty percent of sales from the exhibition will benefit The Rugby School at Woodfield.

The exhibit will run through February at SWAG, 568 Cookman Ave. in Asbury Park.
