Help with utility bills available Feb. 13 The Affordable Housing Alliance is offering a walk-in day for those needing assistance with home heating bills, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 13 at New Beginnings Agape Christian Center, 133 Throckmorton St., Freehold Borough. Trained counselors from the Bilingual Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) will be on hand to help process applications; all Monmouth County residents are welcome. Copies of the following documents must be presented: Social Security cards for all household members and birth certificates for children younger than 12 months of age; proof of U.S. citizenship or current legal residence status; proof of earned and unearned income for anyone in the household over 18 years of age, or proof of unemployment; proof of home ownership, rental receipts or lease agreement; proof of public housing/rental assistance; and current utility bills.
