“George Segal Everyman: Sculpture, Paintings and Drawings” offers a diverse overview of the late artist’s career and features his signature life-size, plaster cast sculptures, as well as portrait and still-life paintings and drawings. The exhibit runs from Feb. 28 through April 1, with an opening reception from 3-5 p.m. on Feb. 28.
A companion exhibit, “George Segal in Focus: Photography by Donald Lokuta,” runs through March 21. An opening reception will take place from 3-5 p.m. Feb. 28
This exhibition features photographs by Donald Lokuta that document Segal’s work during the last 20 years of his life.

A preview party and benefit for the “George Segal Everyman” exhibition will take place 5- 7 p.m. Feb. 27.
This evening offers an opportunity to preview the Segal exhibition and features an informal tour and discussion with Segal’s daughter, Rena Segal, and Lokuta.
Barbara Goldfarb, Robert Yaskowitz and Susan Kutliroff were friends of Segal’s and will speak about their experiences as models for his cast sculptures. Enjoy libations and light fare, and experience Segal’s art before the exhibition opens to the public. Tickets are $65 per person. The museum has organized a George Segal Studio Tour on April 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This privateguided tour of Segal’s studio with Rena Segal and Lokuta is a unique opportunity to view Segal’s studio, because it is not open to the public.
