Pictured at the recent Swimming River Discoveries Art Gala are Red Bank Councilman Ed Zipprich, Red Bank Borough School Superintendent Dr. Laura Morana, foundation members Kathleen Panepinto of Red Bank and Elysia Tan, of Fair Haven. The Swimming River Discoveries Art Gala featured a show and sale of art curated by Susan Berke, of Red Bank. The May 21 fundraiser benefited the Red Bank Borough Education Foundation, which is raising funds for a naturelearning center on the 17-acre wetlands of the Red Bank Primary School grounds. Funds raised by the Art Gala will enable further development of the site plans and will serve to indicate a serious grassroots commitment to the project in qualifying for foundation and corporate grants. Progress on the Swimming River Discoveries project can be followed on the education foundation’s website, http://www.rbbef.org.
