Ferraris to cruise for a cause in Red Bank

RED BANK — Broad Street will be lined with exotic autos on Sunday, June 27, for a rally of Ferrari automobiles.

The third annual “Raduno d’Eleganza, An Event of Elegance” is being presented by Hamilton Jewelers, 19 Broad St., in conjunction with Ferrari of Central New Jersey.

More than 75 Ferraris will rally down the Garden State Parkway, from Montvale to Red Bank, to raise money for a good cause. One hundred percent of the drivers’ fees and suggested donations will be donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, according to a press release from Hamilton.

The convoy of 75 luxe rides, equaling millions of dollars’ worth of sleek automobiles, will be on display for passersby to view.

Local stores and restaurants will also be involved in the festivities, many offering special discounts for the day. A VIP hospitality area will be provided by Blu 33 restaurant. In addition to the Ferraris, the afternoon will feature a luxury raffle offering a suite of prestige brands and items. Drivers also have the opportunity to win this year’s contest to be the “Coolest Car.” Voted on by attendees, the winner will receive a crystal trophy and $500 cash and bragging rights. Log on to the rally website for additional info, http://www.hamiltonferrarirally.com/

A raffle/auction will take place in an outdoor tent, with proceeds benefiting the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Some of the items up for auction include an Audemars Piguet timepiece, a Masters hospitality package, and driving packages to New Jersey Motor Sports Park.
