Eugene J. Celebuski
Mr. Celebuski, 81, of Rumson, died June 7, 2010. He was born in Pennsylvania and lived in Bethlehem, Pa., for 50 years. Mr. Celebuski served with the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955. Upon his discharge, he worked at Bethlehem Steel, later owning and operating his own furniture and upholstery business for 40 years, also in Bethlehem. Surviving is his wife of 54 years, Carolina; four sons, Dr. Joseph E. and his wife, Clara, of Gurnee, Ill., Matthew of Rumson, Mark of Lititz, Pa., and Anthony and his wife, Karen, of Berwyn, Pa.; four daughters, Carin Celebuski and husband, Vincent, J. Matanoski, of Silver Spring, Md., Virginia of Jersey City, Annette of Harrisburg, Pa., and Claudine Celebuski and husband, Bernie Kuo, of Summit; and eight grandchildren. A funeral Mass was offered at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Rumson. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 30 Ward Ave., Rumson, NJ 07760. The Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank, was in charge of all arrangements.
