Doris Raffalovich
      Mrs. Raffalovich, 85, of Little Silver, died July 15, 2010, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was born in Paterson and lived in Belmar before moving to Little Silver 58 years ago. Mrs. Raffalovich was a journalist most of her life, working at many area newspapers. She was the publisher of the Woman’s Reporter in Monmouth County.

      Mrs. Stricklin, 81, of Freehold Township, died June 28, 2010, at home. She was born in Staten Island, N.Y., and had lived in Holmdel before moving to Freehold Township in 1984. Mrs. Stricklin was predeceased by her husband, Douglas S., in 2001. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara E. Duggan and her husband, Frank, of Freehold Township, and Priscilla D.

Daniel W. Cherellia
      Mr. Cherellia, 84, of Manalapan, died July 8, 2010, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Export, Pa., and later moved to Plainfield, eventually retiring in Manalapan. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II and a recipient of the World War II Victory Medal. He worked for Koppers Co.

      Mr. Guenther, 83, of Monmouth Beach and formerly of Colts Neck, died July 17, 2010. DuringWorldWar II, he served with the U.S. Army Air Corps. Mr. Guenther retired 22 years ago from Merck Pharmaceutical Co. in Rahway after 40 years of service. He was predeceased by a brother, Dick Guenther. Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Betty; three sons, Gregory W.

      Miss DeFelice, 20, of Tinton Falls, died unexpectedly July 16, 2010, in Dover, Del. She recently completed her junior year at Wesley College in Dover, where she was majoring in exercise science. Miss DeFelice was a member of the women’s soccer team and recently moved into the school’s top 20 all-time scoring list.

      Mr. Yarbrough, 66, of Manalapan, formerly of Tinton Falls, died June 24, 2010, at home. He was born in Williamson, Ga., and settled in Red Bank in 1962. He worked for the Preferred Construction, Bayonne, and the Patock Construction, Tinton Falls, as a labor foreman, retiring in 2008.
