Daniel W. Cherellia
Mr. Cherellia, 84, of Manalapan, died July 8, 2010, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Export, Pa., and later moved to Plainfield, eventually retiring in Manalapan. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II and a recipient of the World War II Victory Medal. He worked for Koppers Co. in Pittsburgh, Pa., for many years and retired from the Tube Manufacturing Co. in Somerville in 1998. Mr. Cherellia is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debi and Frank Sardone of Farmingdale, and Cheryl and Ray Brislin of Wilmington, N.C.; and three grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Marlboro Memorial Mausoleum, Marlboro. Arrangements were by the Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan.
